About the Axio

The Toyota Axio is the Corolla saloon, a compact car for families and commuters. Most on Kenyan roads have the 1500cc petrol engine with a CVT automatic and front-wheel drive. Newer cars have a more efficient 1500cc engine, and the 1500cc hybrid uses far less fuel than either. It uses about as much fuel as the Fielder wagon and a little less than the bigger Premio and Allion. Expect about 14.4 km/L, or KSh 15.76 per km at today's Nairobi petrol price.
