The Audi A3 is a compact five-door hatchback, called the Sportback, with a saloon version, for commuters and young professionals. Most imports have the 1400cc TFSI turbo petrol with front-wheel drive and an S tronic automatic. Some have the cylinder-on-demand version, which can switch off half its cylinders to save fuel and uses slightly less. In Audi's Japanese figures it uses clearly less fuel than the A4. Expect about 14.0 km/L, or KSh 16.17 per km at today's Nairobi petrol price.
