About the Prius

The Toyota Prius is a mid-size hybrid hatchback for commuters and drivers who cover long distances. Most on Kenyan roads have the 1800cc hybrid system with an automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive. It cannot be plugged in; the battery charges itself. It uses far less fuel than petrol saloons of its size and a little more than the smaller Aqua. Expect about 21.9 km/L, or KSh 10.37 per km at today's Nairobi petrol price.
