The Toyota C-HR is a compact crossover with coupe-like styling, for commuters and small families. Most on Kenyan roads have the 1800cc hybrid with front-wheel drive. It cannot be plugged in; the battery charges itself. The 1200cc turbo petrol version with four-wheel drive uses far more fuel. The hybrid uses far less fuel than petrol SUVs of a similar size, such as the Harrier. Expect about 21.7 km/L, or KSh 10.44 per km at today's Nairobi petrol price.
