The Toyota Alphard is a large luxury MPV with seven or eight seats, used by families and for business travel. Most on Kenyan roads have the 2500cc petrol engine with a CVT automatic and front-wheel drive. The 2500cc hybrid with all-wheel drive uses far less fuel in Toyota's figures. With the petrol engine it uses clearly more fuel than mid-size MPVs such as the Isis. Expect about 8.4 km/L, or KSh 27.17 per km at today's Nairobi petrol price.
