Petrol at KSh 226.96 per litre (EPRA, 15 Oct to 14 Nov 2026). Updated 25 Oct 2026.
The Suzuki Wagon R is a tall Japanese kei hatchback with four seats, used for town driving and taxi work. Most imports have the 660cc three-cylinder petrol engine with a CVT automatic, and many are hybrids with a small electric motor that cannot be plugged in. The hybrid uses clearly less fuel than the non-hybrid version, and a little more than the lighter Alto. Four-wheel-drive versions use a little more fuel. Expect about 24.0 km/L, or KSh 9.44 per km at today's Nairobi petrol price.
