About the Jimny

The Suzuki Jimny is a small four-wheel-drive SUV with a ladder frame, built for rough roads and off-road driving. The official dealer sells it with a 1500cc petrol engine in three-door and five-door forms, with manual or automatic gearboxes. Japanese imports have the same 1500cc engine as the Jimny Sierra, or a 660cc turbo. In Suzuki's figures the automatic uses a little more fuel than the manual, and it uses clearly more fuel than the Swift. Expect about 11.4 km/L, or KSh 19.86 per km at today's Nairobi petrol price.
