About the Outlander

The Mitsubishi Outlander is a mid-size seven-seat SUV for families. Most on Kenyan roads have the 2400cc petrol engine, a CVT automatic and four-wheel drive. Others have the 2000cc petrol with front-wheel drive, which uses a little less fuel. The PHEV is a plug-in hybrid, so its fuel use depends on how often it is charged. In Mitsubishi's Japanese figures the petrol versions use about the same fuel as the smaller RVR. Expect about 10.5 km/L, or KSh 21.59 per km at today's Nairobi petrol price.
