The Mitsubishi Lancer is a compact family saloon. Most on Kenyan roads are the older Lancer and Lancer Cedia with a 1500cc petrol engine, a CVT automatic and front-wheel drive. The 1800cc Cedia wagon uses a little more fuel in official figures. The newer Lancer, sold in Japan as the Galant Fortis, has a 2000cc engine.
