About the NQR

The Isuzu NQR is a medium-duty truck assembled locally by Isuzu East Africa, used for deliveries and, in bus form, for matatu and staff transport. It has the 4800cc four-cylinder turbo diesel with a six-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. Isuzu does not publish an official fuel figure for it. Its engine is bigger than the NMR's and smaller than the engine in the FRR. Expect about 5.4 km/L, or KSh 42.18 per km at today's Nairobi diesel price.
