Diesel at KSh 227.76 per litre (EPRA, 15 Oct to 14 Nov 2026). Updated 25 Oct 2026.
The Isuzu D-Max is a one-tonne pickup assembled locally by Isuzu East Africa, used for business, farming and family transport. It comes with the 1900cc turbo diesel in single cab and double cab form, or the stronger 3000cc turbo diesel in the double cab. Manual and automatic gearboxes are offered. The 1900cc uses a little less fuel than the 3000cc, and its figure is close to Toyota's for a Hilux with the 2400cc diesel. Expect about 10.7 km/L, or KSh 21.32 per km at today's Nairobi diesel price.
